Locals witnessed giant hailstones as large as 7cm in certain regions. Meteorological experts verified that different parts across the state had been impacted by significant hail.

State Emergency Services responded to 598 requests for assistance across the area, mostly for building damage but also for collapsed vegetation and flooding.

Meteorological Predictions
Humid circumstances were predicted to continue along much of the state's eastern regions this week as a low-pressure trough continued to attract humidity against the coast.
Tomorrow was predicted as the wettest day, with ongoing thunderstorm potential predicted across different parts of both areas.
