Nineteen of the Russian's 21 victories have been achieved on hard courts
A comeback the Russian player won his first trophy for 882 days with a win over Frenchman Moutet in the tournament final.
The Russian, a former world number one, has endured a difficult year, winning just one match at the big events and undergoing a setback at the New York tournament.
The player's unpredictability on the ATP Tour - and struggles with his serve in specific - led to him falling of the elite rankings and ultimately splitting with long-term coach Cervara.
Presently working with Johansson and Goetzke, he has steadily progressed in the last few weeks - peaking in a hard-fought competitive triumph over Frenchman Corentin Moutet.
This marks Medvedev's maiden championship after the 2023 Rome Masters and maiden on a hard court since March of the previous year.
Success also indicates Medvedev has won twenty-one victories at twenty-one various competitions.
"For the first time I am participating in a tournament with my two daughters at once, so to get a title is particularly special," said ranked player the champion.
"This championship is in dedication of my younger daughter her name, because the first title I won when my first daughter her name was born was for her."
The tennis star, the 2021 US Open champion, had been defeated in his previous six finals, including in the German tournament earlier this year.
Medvedev's defensive strategy and regular emotional displays on the playing surface had prompted commentators to question if his capacity to play at the top level was over.
Yet the athlete has altered his approach in the past month, making an effort to approach the net and compete assertively, backed up by an better serving game.
The champion fought back from a deficit in the opening set against the challenging Moutet, taking 4 of the concluding five exchanges to go ahead.
The pair traded breaks in the second set before the Frenchman, bidding for his initial professional victory, took control to create a decider.
Moutet defended four early chances in a close third set before Medvedev secured a break to 15 to close out the victory.
Suitably, the winner secured the win with a rally at the front of the court, with the Frenchman unable to handle a shot after over two and a half hours.
