The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two-time world boxing king Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is really proceeding.
